After effects and Premier Pro Project
Case Study
Objective: The goal of this project was to create a compelling 15-second social media ad for Pringles Chips, highlighting their new flavors and engaging the target audience, primarily kids and adults who frequently consume chips.
Target Audience: Our target audience includes children and adults who enjoy snacking on chips regularly. We aimed to appeal to their taste preferences, snack habits, and desire for variety in flavors.
Assets Gathering: I gathered more than 10 images related to the journey from raw potatoes to crispy Pringles chips. These images depicted the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Additionally, I selected a suitable music that fits with the overall appeal of the ad. I curated a logo that prominently displayed the Pringles brand identity.
Storyboard Creation: The storyboard outlined the narrative flow of the ad, starting with raw potatoes and transitioning to the transformation process into delicious Pringles chips. Each still image contributed to the story, emphasizing the freshness of ingredients and the excitement of trying new flavors.
Animated Still Images: Utilizing After Effects, I animated the still images to create seamless transitions and captivating visuals. Movement, color, and text were strategically used to enhance storytelling and maintain viewer engagement throughout the ad.
Time Management: I ensured that the ad remained within the 15-second time limit while effectively conveying the message of freshness and flavor variety. Every animated still image contributed to delivering the intended message efficiently.
Branding Incorporation: Incorporating branding elements such as the Pringles logo, brand colors, and packaging design helped reinforce brand recognition and association with the new flavors being promoted.
Final Touches: In Premier Pro, we added sound effects and music to complement the visuals and enhance the overall viewing experience. Text overlays were used strategically to highlight key messages such as the new flavors and the freshness of Pringles chips.
