This project involved redesigning the menu for Castello Plan, a restaurant known for its elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Using Adobe InDesign, I focused on creating a layout that enhances readability while reflecting the restaurant’s sophisticated yet approachable vibe. The redesign emphasizes clean typography, thoughtful organization, and a modern aesthetic to elevate the dining experience. This project showcases my ability to balance functionality with creativity, resulting in a design that its clean and easy to navigate.
Reference
When I started the redesign for the Castello Plan menu, I was given the original design, which was visually cluttered, difficult to navigate, and lacked a clear structure. The sections felt unbalanced, the typography was inconsistent, and there was no sense of hierarchy, making it hard for customers to find specific items and prices.
Sketches
I chose a trifold menu design to better organize the content and enhance readability. Early sketches helped map out the layout and experiment with section placements, ensuring the design aligned with the restaurant's branding and improved the customer experience.
Final Trifold Menu Design
Mockups
To showcase the final concept, I created mockups of the redesigned menu. These mockups bring the design to life, highlighting the clean layout, improved organization, and modern aesthetic. They also demonstrate how the trifold format enhances usability while aligning with the restaurant's branding.
